Weather

Hot and dry weather is expected throughout this tour. Occasional showers are possible, but most days remain dry. Midday temperatures can be very hot, though most woodland sites have low humidity. Wetland sites can be more humid by their nature. The tour is paced so we are not forced to bird through the heat of the day.

Food

Khmer cuisine is similar to most Southeast Asian cooking but rather less spicy. Lodge staff cook a wide variety of good local food. Thanks to French influence, good bread is widely available, and there is a surprisingly wide range of local brews to try.
